Meet the Teacher
The Teacher:
Let me tell you a little about myself. I have been teaching English at Edwardsville High School for twenty-five years. Prior to that, I taught in a private school for six years in grades Pre-K through high school. Yes, I have taught all of them. Currently I teach Advanced Placement English and Honors English I, I have also earned my Master's in integrating technology in the classroom.
Students tease me about being so short--I'm almost five feet. One year a student knelt on the floor and was almost as tall as I am. He was 6'7'. My husband is also tall (6'2"). We make quite a pair.
My husband and I have two children, a son and a daughter. My son and daughter are both married. One lives in New Jersey and the other lives in the Arizona. I have twin grand daughters and another on the way.
My hobbies include reading, gardening, and bicycling. I love the outdoors and am fairly athletic.
